What Is It #5 Solved

Well, I guess I'm going to have to get a bit more creative with my photos next time around. The very first person, Mary (aka Crystalchick) of Mary Says had two out of three of them and then Miss smarty pants Katherine of Wading Through my Stream of Consciousness got all three of them correct on the very next comment.

Among some of my favorites were from Akelamalu of Everything and Nothing who offered the following:

1. A thing
2. A thingy
3. A thingymagig

And, Nicole of Humor Me who had this suggestion:

A do it yourself body piercing kit.

Thank you all for playing along. I really enjoy seeing what you come up with for these things.

Many of you have asked, "Do we get a prize?" Well yes you do. I've taken your hints, suggestions and prodding to come up with a little something you can take with you for all of your diligent detective work.

I tried to come up with an idea that said something about being sharp in respect to figuring out the objects and also gave away a prize. I immediately thought "Cracker Jack". (and by the way it doesn't have an "s" on the end of it.)

Here's what I decided/designed:

I'm slowly understanding this graphics program, but HTML is a whole 'nother animal I haven't delved into yet. As a result, You are free to copy the image and display it if you like, but I don't have a html code for those that would prefer to have it that way. Let me know what you think, and please feel free to be honest.

Who gets the prize? Anybody who guessed correctly or made me chuckle, which pretty much includes everybody this time around.

Awesome!!! Damn straight I'm taking this award. My blog needs all the help it can get!
And of course you know, I really did know #2 the whole time (she's lying) but just didn't want to take ALL the credit. hehehe
Hey, speaking of body piercings.... Ron's blog today is all about tats. Boyohboy did I have a comment. LOL

Thanks for the mention, I'm slowly starting an Etsy page and can use the links. :)

Have a GREAT weekend with your family Jeff!

Crystalchick- I just left his site and left a comment as well. Can't wait to see what you came up with.

Love the prize image Jeff - any chance you'd be willing to put your blog location on it? There's nothing I like better than displaying a "trophy" that gives a little love back to the person who gave it!

More of an incentive please! (ha)

That was fun Jeff. I'll await the next game that will surely be much harder. Have a great day. :)

Here's a handy site that shows you how to make a picture into a link.

http://tiny.cc/QoDUI

I don't know how to put one of those little boxes with HTML code inside it that people can copy though. I guess I could look that up sometime.

LOL I only said that because I hadn't a clue what they were! Still I'm not complaining I got a crackerjack blogger award for my stupidity - Thanks Jeff. x

cool...I missed this yesterday somehow.

Now, if you want to give them html...get an account at photobucket.com. Upload the image there and then they will generate an html code. Then take the first part of the code that leads to their page and replace it with the url of your blog and the graphic will become an instant link to here.

If you need further assistance, just ask.

That is actually a prize that I find, "cute". Don't tell anyone that I used that word. Cheers Jeff!!

BRAVO!!!!!!

HOLY SHIT, Jeff...I'm shitting over the graphic you made!!! Way to go! And I'd have to say the same as Matt Man...CUTE!

And I agree with Dana...why not place your blog name on it? Great idea!

This is too funny, because I was JUST thinking of Cracker Jack and planning to do a post on it next week!!!

Thanks for the GREAT prize, buddy!

And for a GREAT post!

Dana- As I see from the comments, others have suggested the same thing. I really wasn't thinking about any type of promotion, but perhaps I'll cave and do a second one so people can choose whichever one they want.

Deb- I'm assuming cold hard cash would be acceptable?

Katherine(MSP)- I'm considering it.

Sandee- I'm already cooking up some ideas for it.

Jay- Thanks for the info.

Akelamalu- Ssssh, nobody needs to know.

Bond- Way cool! Between yoo and Jay I might just come up with a solution. Thanks.

MattMan- Of all the words I would have expected from you, this is by far the last one I would have picked. Well...that or adorable.

Ron- You better go wipe yourself! I'll be looking for your "Cracker Jack" post.

Hey you did a good job there!

Wow matt-man said "cute"! isn't that adorable!?

I think your design is great. I'm slowly, very, very slowly learning html.

trial and error ;)

Darn, I missed the mystery photos! I love it when you do those. I love the comments though. Hilarious reading material.

Jules- Thanks

Dianne- I think all that heat and humidity has got to Matt.

Rhea- I'm thinking about doing them as a weekly feature for a while so people will know when to look for them.

Hey, I'll be right back. I have to go do a post about Matt-Man saying "cute" about the prize. Just Kidding, I can't list MM on my site cause the kiddos don't need to visit. :(

I missed it yesterday, but I would have gotten the second two and then figured out the first. Piercing kit, Um, NO. I showed a stapler once as a diet aid. Staple those lips shut and then I can't eat cheeseburgers.

I like the Cracker Jack Blogger thingy.

Be blessed.

Have I ever mentioned that I think you're just plain cool?

Yup....well, thinkin' I just did......

:-)

Jeff B said...

Jennifer- Just when we think we have Matt all figured out...Wham!

I'm toying with the idea of doing these on a regular schedule for a while. That way everyone will know when to look for them.

Mel- Awe shucks...(scuffs the dirt with his foot)
