Where is What is it?

The title sounds a bit like an Abbot and Costello routine doesn't it? Well here we are on Friday and I have decided to give the guessing game at least a week off. I haven't made up my mind whether to do it again next week or if it has perhaps run its course for a while.

Another reason for a postponement of it is because Sunday will mark the one year anniversary of my fathers death, and I just don't much feel like being jovial on that particular day with my post. Not to worry though, I'm not sitting around in a heap of despair. I'm actually doing ok considering. Just a bit of the blahs I guess.

I'll probably do a post on Sunday about my dad, so I won't go into it more now save to say, he was a damn fine guy and I miss having him around.

See you all tomorrow with another Wordzzle.

Your dad raised a mighty fine man my friend.

*hugs*

That's a tough anniversary. I remember the one year mark when Mom passed.. it's still close.

I'll be thinking of you and sending good thoughts.

I echo Anndi....

Your dad raised a mighty fine son!

I can totally understand and respect your feelings, Jeff.

As you know, this Father's Day was an emotional one for me.

You take care, buddy. And know that I'm sending lots of good energy to you!

Later, gator!

The 'what is it' is fun, but I'm sure if you don't do it for awhile something equally as interesting will take it's place.

I can understand how you feel about your Dad and hope you share some great stories with us. My Mom has been gone since '95 and Dad since '99 so the initial shock and transition is long past but it's still sad at times and of course they are always missed.

Peace to you and yours this weekend.

Those kinds of anniversaries are hard, I know. I haven't lost my parents yet, but I know it will be so hard when it happens. :o(

Loss anniversaries are rough, especially the first one. And I've read many mentions you've made of your Dad and the love and respect is so clear.

I saw a comment you left on your brother's post where you quoted your Dad and I smiled and thought - "wow - cool guy who sure did raise a couple of great guys"

I'm sending a hug my friend.
