The Non-Post Post

Yes, you read that title correctly. I decided to put up a post that basically says nothing more than I don't have a post right now.

I've been busier than a (____________) insert your own phrase here.

Up early, home late and dog tired by the time me butt finally hits the chair. As a result, I haven't been doing much in the way of blogging.

Just thought I'd let you know why I haven't been around lately.

I did decide to start a writing blog and should have that ready to unveil in the next week. I'll keep this one going too, but for more of the day to day stuff, family happenings and general humorous and cynical style things.

Hmmm, guess I did have something to say after all. Anyhoo, I hope some of you will still be here when I get back to regular posting again. Hopefully in the not to distant future.

Until then ciao.

I know you are working hard. That's a good thing you know.

I'll still be around when you get back to your normal posting.

Have a terrific rest of the week. :)

I, for one, am thrilled you have decided to go for the writing blog. I suspect I'll hang around to see what cynical and humorous things you have to say.

Didn't really have a comment except to say I don't have a comment.

Interesting to see where writing has taken you, sir.

Yaknow, I'm a 'put it in black and white' kinda gal. But that's done for me....and if folks get something out of it--great.
I must say it's connected me to some of THE most awesome people.

And nope--no one paid me to say that.....LOL

Good luck on the new adventure, sir.

<-- ain't goin' nowhere

Busier: "Than a one- armed paper hanger" has always been a favorite of mine..

Or the ever popular "One- legged man at an ass-kicking contest" is good too..

Of course we'll be here! I think everyone who blogs gets mired in Real Life once in awhile. Just don't get too stressed.

Congratulations on the new blog! Your writing is fantastic.

Hey Jeff---we've never met, but (unfortunately) I know your ugly brother Gene....he said in his blog that you were coming down to help out in his "Man Cave" so maybe I can meet you!

Did he have to pay you a lot to get you down here???

Mike- Thanks, it should be fun

Sandee- This time of year it's a great thing!

Ron- Thanks my friend.

Katherine- Should be up and running soon.

BJ- It just seemed like the write time (pun intended)

Songbird- That made me laugh

Mel- A year and a half ago I wouldn't have thought I'd be putting together a writing blog. it is interesting to see how ones direction changes over time.

Sandi- Seinfeld without all the yelling.

Jay- Bada bing! Don't for get to tip your waitresses, Jay will be here all week.

Buffalo- Both excellent choices. Have used them myself.

Dianne- Matthew came home sick today, so I'm taking Airborne now as a preventive measure.

Nitebyrd- Funny how we/I feel the need to apologize for "real" life getting in the way of blogging.

Akelamalu- I'm hoping this is the beginning to a long busy season actually.

Connie- After that comment, I can honestly say I already like you! And I'm planning on taking my payment in a nice duck dinner with all those little quackers he's murdered this season.

Dr John- just when you thought it was safe to venture across the internet again....

Good, I'm glad you're tired. It's about time you started doing SOMETHING!

Hey, have I told you that you're a scumbag yet today?

Work...what's that again?

Some of my best posts have come when I've had absolutely nothing to say.

I've been considering a writing blog as well, but since I'm not really writing these days it would likely be a wasted effort.
