Runway Humor

We all need a good laugh from time to time. These two guys certainly understand that.

Have you laughed like that lately?

Oh dear, poor woman! The guys are just having a fabulous time like school boys. I love it when people laugh so hard they can barely contain it. Contagious!

PS My writing for Portrait of words is ready!

TTWC- "Like school boys" you hit it right on the head.

I'll have my story posted by midday tomorrow and will have a link box at the bottom of it for everyone to sign in on. I'm looking forward to reading what you've written.

Looked like she was doing "The Charlston" from the 1920s...

Does it make it OK if I laughed at them laughing and not her misfortune? Maybe it makes me a prude, but I really try not to laugh at the misfortune of others, so I'm laughing at the men instead - m-kay??

Happy Birthday Jeff. Have a great day funny man. Cheers!!

Their laughter IS contagious, no doubt about it. I guess I should feel guilty about laughing along. Really, I should. But I don't!

Happy Birthday, you evil stuff muffin.

Lanny- Is that a hmmmm haha or a hmmmm you're cracked?

Mel- I watched it three times in a row with just as much laughing each time.

Buffalo- You know that move had to create some kind of a nickname for her.

Dana- You a prude? bwahahahahahaha

I don't get the fascination with most of the "funniest video" shows where people are getting pummeled and passed of as entertainment, but this poor girl's rubber legs walk just struck a sweet spot on my haha meter.

Matt- Thanks man. I woke up today. I'd call that a pretty good start.

Songbird- Have a good guilt free laugh. It's my birthday and I'm making the rules today.

Katherine- No dashboard would be complete without one. Thank you.

I ended up having a laugh because the laughter of the guys was infectious. But that poor model could have broken both ankles.

So I say this...we shouldn't laugh at ladies having trouble walking in heels, and we shouldn't laugh at fellas getting nailed in the gonads.

Laughing at other people laughing is ok.

Does anything feel better than laughing like that? I don't think so. And it usually over something so silly.

Jay said...

Oh, I hate that video!! I know I'm in the minority, but my ankles are weak, and even without high heels, I rupture ligaments with depressing regularity.

And I know how incredibly painful that is.

I have to say though, that models wear the most ridiculous things.

Thom - - Dr. John said...

Travis- Had she have broken her ankles, then there certainly wouldn't be any humor there. Considering she didn't, I thought it was a riot.

Nessa- This certainly does qualify as silly doesn't it.

Jay- I wouldn't wish that condition on anyone, but the ridiculousness of these models strutting down runways is what makes it so danged funny.

Now that was funny! I'm not sure if it was the fall or the guy laughing so hard that gave me the giggles.

Hey Jeff, did you get the birthay present I left on your phone last night? If not, here it is again:

TV

Got it now?

That video is great. Maybe, just maybe, if that woman had tried walking like a normal human she wouldn't have bit the dust? But then, what would have to laugh at?

Vinny "Bond" Marini said...

Man I wonder if she got to continue the show...

I hate laughing at the misfortunes of others, but they have TV shows full of that stuff

Hey..try and relink up to me new domain!

First time to your blog... As a former super model. I don't find any humor in that poor woman's misfortune.

Just kidding! And no, I haven't laughed that hard in quite awhile. Thanks for that :)

Jeff B said...

BJ- The combination was pretty good wasn't it.

Gene- Yes I got it you dirty dog.

If she'd have wiggled her butt any hardrer her ass would have been in front of her.

Bond- The link works just like it ought to now. Glad you changed your domain so it will update regularly now.

Kathy B!- or should I say Supermodel...K. Thanks for the visit. Hope to see you again

Her falling wasn't nearly as funny as those guys laughing!!!! Really good vid.

And she never let go of the damn watering can!

Extreme fashion never works. Thanks for the laugh, Jeff!

Yes, I am laughing at them (and the weird wobbly heels) but I feel sorry for her. There isn't any fat on that rear end and you know it hurt when all of that bony-ness hit the runway.

I can't watch America's Funniest Home Video's because of all the falling and take it in the jewels videos. It makes me draw up and wince.

Jeff B said...

Crystalchick- Thanks for coming by. Thought you didn't love me anymore...Seriously, good to see you again.

Nitebyrd- You're right, she didn't let go of it once!

Jennifer- Those models look so goofy strutting down the isle don't they?

Dr.John said...

And on the air yet. Oh! my.

none said...

It would have been funnier if she had fallen off the stage..but yeah that was a hoot.

Laura Marchant said...

OMG! THat was so funny. Her legs wobbled so much before she fell. I couldn't help but laugh along with them

Jules~ said...

oh my...that kind of laughing is so contagious.
I kan't believe that girl didn't break her ankles in those silly shoes. Poor thing. She must have been very embarassed. I wonder if she still has a job.....

What a riot ... you feel bad for the model ... but, oh, very funny!
