Damn It!

Hey you all. This is just a quick post tonight and no this time it isn't a work of fiction. My wife's mother is back in the hospital after just having gone through surgery to remove some cancerous tissues in one of her breasts. After performing a biopsy and getting the results, they (the doctors) have found more cancer. She (Maria) will be going into surgery again tomorrow morning.

I'd much rather be writing one of my humorous posts or some fun story that has popped into my head, but right now that just isn't possible. Even though Maria and I have never been real close, she is my wife's mom, and when Lisa is hurting, so am I.

Some of you are the praying type I know. If that's you I would ask that you send prayers for both Maria's healing and Lisa's comfort. For others I know that's not your thing. A moment of silence, a positive though or a well wish, whatever it is you feel led to do would be much appreciated.

Thanks, and I'll let you know how things turn out when I have some more information.

Jeff

I'm not into prayers but positive thoughts I can do, I am convinced it was positive thoughts, both my own and others that got me through my cancer. I have a number of friends who have been through breast cancer and are now survivors. It can be beaten, love and best wishes to all of you.

I know only too well that the family need as much support as the patient.

hugs to you all

Jeff, I'm the praying type and the positive thoughts type. I say whatever works. So, yes, your wife and your mom-in-law are in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care.

I am overwhelmed by your support for Maria, Lisa and myself.

Lisa just read through all of the comments that you have left so far and was completely blown away. She's not much for sitting down and typing on a computer, but she asked that I please tell all of you, "THANK YOU!!!" It really means a lot to her to know there are so many caring people out there to lend an ear or a shoulder, or to offer up a kind word.

What we know at this point is that Maria is out of surgery and is doing ok in recovery. Again, I'll let you know more as we learn it and thnk you all. You're the best!

Hey Jeff,
You can count on me to get the prayer warriors busy sending up some serious prayers for Maria and Lisa. I can understand the pain that Lisa is going through.... I went through it myself 7 years ago with my mother. My life was changed for ever from the experience

Oh - I recommend that you write to a healer in Australia. He's free, so there's nothing to lose and he's amazing. His name is Dennis Puffet and his website is called Healing Haven.
