Changing Colors

I got a wild hair up my backside and decided to start playing with the colors on the blog. Not sure if I'm going to stick with it the way it is or change it around some more. Do feel free to weigh in with your opinion. Like it...hate it? Too dark? Is it the best thing since sliced bread? Lay it on me. Heck, I might even listen to what you have to say...

Looks nice my friend. But I like the blue better myself :)

I like it. Easy on the eyes. Feels warm and inviting. Nice change for winter. It's 2 degrees here, looking for warmth wherever I can find it! ;) Are you interested in joining our online writer's group? We're starting a year with a new project. We're writing our memoirs. It would be good for you to get started now while you're still young enough to remember. lol It's once a month. Those who can't attend the meeting post and get feedback. It's a private blog. Think about it, let me know. Email me.

Looks just fine Jeff. Might be a tad dark for my taste, but I never get all worked up about how a person's blog looks. Cheers Jeff!!

I find it a bit dark and the print difficult to read but hey if you like it that's all that matters m'dear. :)

LOVE it Jeff!

Easy to read and clean - BRAVO!

Really like the colors you've used.

Changing things up is good. But, hey...you know ME...I love change!

Darker colors are harder for me to read, but outside of that it's just fine. Old eyes just don't work right.

Have a terrific day. :)

It looks pretty good. I like the color scheme, but would prefer slightly better contrast between the text and background in the body of the blog posts. But, maybe that's just me.

I come for the content, not the color (Didn't Martin Luther King say that?)!

But ... since you asked ...

Dark background with lighter writing look pretty cool, but they are notoriously difficult to read.

Hey, I can finally see the "post a comment" link. On that old template it blended in so well I always had to hunt for it!

I love it!
It's masculine and classy.

Or maybe I just like anything that's the same colours as chocolate and coffee, especially in winter.
:-D

PRETTY!!!!! :-)

Which means Mel likes the colours!!!

Course.....that's all about colours and not about readability!

*goes looking for glasses*

You've chosen a black background that is easy on my eyes, so I approve there.

Brown has always been a color I like, so the light brown in the sidebar with the darker brown border works for me too.

The color you chose for the font doesn't hurt my eyes...yet more approval.

So I say you're good to go.

Gotta love Trav's analysis. He's so thorough. Personally, it's a warm, manly color scheme, which means I'm ambivalent to it. *grin* Reminds me of a pair of khakis....

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the input.

Nice... most of these colours are akin to bananas in their various ripening stage *grin*

Happy New Year, bro!

SMOOCH!

And if you start growing yet more wild hairs up your back maybe a little waxing? For now, just pluck it or I hear a little mousse will control unruly hairs quite well...

Good manly man type colors. :)
Nice font, cool color. Easy to read. But I'm used to the black background on my page. Didn't realize that other people may have trouble with the black/white and other colors I have on there.
Hmm.... Maybe I'll be doing a bloggie facelift soon!!

No matter how bad you make it, it will never suck as bad as you do.

I like it because it is easy to read! Not hard on the eyes.

I like it. I sometimes find dark pages harder to read, but the yellow font really jumps out.
